Hello, my name is Gerald Rosati, Licensed Massage Therapist and Thai Massage Student/ Practitioner. I am the owner of Fit Thai Bodywork LLC. I graduated with honors from the massage therapy program at Cortiva Institute (Formally Connecticut Center of Massage Therapy) in Cromwell, CT. I have studied Thai Massage (Nuad Bo-Rarn) under Rich Haesche of the Bodymind Center for Thai Massage and Piya, Piyada Phunsawat of the Moon Child Thai Spa By Piya. I am a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). Additionally, I am certified in Orthopedic Massage, Sports Massage, and a Graston Technique Specialist. I am experienced in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Release, Pin & Stretch Modalities, Acupressure applications and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.

I am passionate about helping others be the best they can be through massage and bodywork. My experience includes working in a clinical setting with individuals experiencing acute and chronic pain. As well as providing sports recovery massage for various Division 1 sports teams, including football, soccer, baseball, women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s ice hockey. I also have experience working with many high-level athletes including strongman, powerlifting, bodybuilding and ju- jitsu competitors. In addition to providing massage and bodywork, I draw on my experience as a personal trainer and fitness enthusiast to develop an individualized treatment plan that includes providing safe effective  exercise strategies that conditions and strengthens the body.

At Fit Thai Bodywork LLC,  we believe that the best results often come by blending procedures and techniques into an individualized treatment plan that is unique for each client. Special thanks to my many teachers and mentors who, throughout my studies, have inspired me with their knowledge and wisdom in multiple disciplines and techniques, to become the best therapist I can be.
